About Me.
I'm so glad you found me!
I'm a licensed professional counselor who specializes in couples therapy with an emphasis on conflict resolution, affair/betrayal recovery, along with the improvement of emotional intimacy and communication. I also thoroughly offering EMDR to adults who have experienced emotional trauma.
As I operate within concepts derived from the Bowen Family Systems theory, we will work together to create a safe space that allows you to widen your perspective so that you're able to process those emotions more effectively. Although uncomfortable to experience, undesired emotions are often filled with tons of information needed to achieve resiliency, maturity and balance.
EMDR is a type of therapy where past traumas are identified and processed in a safe and controlled manner. Throughout EMDR the goal is to allow your body to recognize how safe it is in the current moment, so that your mind has the opportunity to form healthier conclusions concerning past events.
(It is essential for the client to establish a quiet/non-distracting environment if they elect for this type of therapy.)
I have collaborated with Millennial Life Counseling to service couples in person. This has afforded me the opportunity to have open availability for couples who opt for out-of-pocket payments.
